Gold prices dip to 10 month low, down by ₹11,000

The bullion market in India again saw a plunge as it fell ₹244 or 0.54 per cent on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) to ₹45,304 per 10 gram. Silver futures gained ₹511 or 0.76 per cent to exchange at ₹67,850 per kg.

Gold prices fell by a mighty 11,000 as compared to its August 2020 high of 56,200 per 10 grams.

Silver prices also lost 10,000 like last year it peaked at 77,800 per kg.

Gold rates eased in the international market as the spot gold rate on Wednesday relaxed 0.3% to $1,732.51 per ounce. Spot gold rate dropped to an extreme low on Tuesday since June 15 at $1,706.70. US gold futures lost 0.3% to $1,728.90.
