The bullion market in India again saw a plunge as it fell ₹244 or 0.54 per cent on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) to ₹45,304 per 10 gram. Silver futures gained ₹511 or 0.76 per cent to exchange at ₹67,850 per kg.
Gold prices fell by a mighty ₹11,000 as compared to its August 2020 high of ₹56,200 per 10 grams.
Silver prices also lost ₹10,000 like last year it peaked at ₹77,800 per kg.
Gold rates eased in the international market as the spot gold rate on Wednesday relaxed 0.3% to $1,732.51 per ounce. Spot gold rate dropped to an extreme low on Tuesday since June 15 at $1,706.70. US gold futures lost 0.3% to $1,728.90.
