After the ban of TikTok in India, Sharechat’s user base increased by 100 million. With Twitter, Lightspeed elevation capital as it’s investors, Sharechat has been in a $200 million fundraise drive. After this, Google showed interest in Sharechat and now is in an advanced stage to acquire Sharechat at a valuation of $1.03 billion. Sharechat’s existing investors might also push for Google buying a large stake then a buyout.
