Google to pay $310M for sexual misconduct settlement

An employee identified as John Doe from google has sued it in 2016 under California Private Attorney’s General Act and is trying to block a $310 million settlement to resolve separate litigation over sexual harassment and executive misconduct. He claims that Google’s non-disclosure and confidentiality agreements violate state laws. In defence of its settlement Google said, “We’ve committed to making more than 50 improvements to Alphabet’s workplace”.
