After announcing that Google may pull out of the deal with Australia News Corp, the Tech giant today announced that it has agreed to the terms of the deal and will be paying News Corp for providing services from its news site in the future.

News Corp, Australia is a diversified media and information services provider company. Australian government recently passed a new legislation which proposed that tech companies i.e., Google & Facebook have to pay for the news content that they showcase on their platforms.

A 3 year deal has been signed between both the parties which provide Google access to several of News Corp content. Robert Thomson, CEO of News Corp said that there should premium for premium content and this legislation will provide a positive impact on journalism around the globe.

This deal is not only being signed with Google but any media house which wants to feature the publication of News from Australia will have to pay the agency for using its content and soon many more partnerships will be announced.

Earlier both Facebook and Google were pushing back on the deal but it was Microsoft that favored the legislation saying that its Bing search engine will remain within Australia and is prepared to share its revenues with news organizations.
