Government retries to sell its entire stake in Pawan Hans

The Indian government has started the fresh process for sale of helicopter services provider Pawan Hans along with the transfer of management control. The government owns 51% stake and Oil & Natural Gas Corp holds 49% stake. ONGC had decided to sell its entire stake with the governmental stake. The Department of Investment and Public Asset Management is inviting Expression of Interest (EoI) from potential buyers by January 19, 2021. The government was previously unsuccessful twice in raising the bidders interest.
