The Indian Government that launched a campaign to crackdown GST evaders who issues fake invoices to avail GST claims is a big hit. The project has met with great success and has already identified 7000 such entities and has arrested 187 people including Managing Directors of various firms & a CA in this regards. The government had so far collected Rs. 1.15 lakh crore in GST in December 2020 with the help of the campaign that contributed its tax collection.
