Gustaakh Ishq box office day 1: Vijay Varma–Fatima Sana Shaikh starrer opens with modest ₹50 lakh debut

Gustaakh Ishq: Kuch Pahle Jaisa has a poor box office debut. In India, the film starring Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Sharib Hashmi, and Naseeruddin Shah premiered for an estimated Rs. 45 lakh to Rs. 55 lakh. The comparatively larger film Tere Ishk Mein, starring Dhanush and Kriti Sanon, was released alongside the Vibhu Puri-directed picture.

Gustaakh Ishq: Kuch Pahle Jaisa, which marks the debut of well-known fashion designer Manish Malhotra as producer, doesn’t fare well at the box office because it’s a very specialized movie. In addition to being distributed on a small number of screens, films like Gustaakh Ishq are viewed as art cinema, which does not appeal to a broad audience.

As a result, these films don’t have much potential at the box office. Nevertheless, the film might earn between 1.20 and 1.70 crore on its first weekend if it can maintain its current levels. The romance drama Gustaakh Ishq: Kuch Pahle Jaisa centers on a young man who goes to see an experienced poet in order to acquire shayari.

He fell in love with the poet’s daughter in the meantime. The original title of the film was Ul Jalool Ishq, however it was eventually altered. Vijay Varma and Fatima Sana Shaikh are partnered opposite each other, while Naseeruddin Ishq portrayed the seasoned poet. This traditional love tale, which is set against the backdrop of Old Delhi and the Punjabi kothis, takes unexpected turns as miscommunications jeopardize the couple’s bond. The central question of the story is whether they succeed in overcoming these obstacles or succumb to fate.
