Lashkar-e-Taiba chief Hafiz Saeed was sentenced to fifteen and half years imprisonment by Pakistani court in a terror financing case. This is his fourth conviction in the year for the same charges. The Jamaat-ud-Dawah chief is currently facing five charges by anti-terrorism court in Pakistan and this is the longest sentence received. Accumulating all the three cases he will serve 36 years of imprisonment. He is also penalised with Pakistani Rs 200,000. Saeed is held in Lahore’s Kot Lakhpat jail and reports suggest he’s provided preferential treatment.
