Maqbool is a 2003 Indian crime drama film directed by Vishal Bhardwaj and starring Pankaj Kapur, Irrfan Khan, Tabu, and Masumeh Makhija in an adaptation of the play Macbeth by Shakespeare. The plot of the film is based on that of Macbeth with regard to events and characterization. it is available on Amazon Prime and Disney+Hotstar.
Raakh
Pankaj Kapur played a cynical and vigilante cop in Aditya Bhattacharya’s acclaimed neo-noir film Raakh (1989). The powerful performance won him his first National Award for Best Supporting Actor. The film also stars Aamir Khan and Supriya Pathak in major roles.
Ek Doctor ki Maut
It is written and directed by #Sudhir Mishra. At the 36th National Film Awards, the film won the National Film Award for Best Film on Social Issues. The film was produced by the National Film Development Corporation of India (NFDC), which in 2012, included in its film restoration project, which involved 80 Indian cinema classics.
Chameli ki Shaadi
Chameli ki Shaadi is a Hilarious underrated comedy by Basu Chatterjee &Prakash Mehra. It stars Anil Kapoor Amrita Singh Amjad Khan Pankaj Kapur, Bharti Achrekar, Annu Kapoor & Omprakash. Anil Kapoor also made his singing debut through this film. Netizens term it as an underrated classic.
Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron
“Business Ka Ek Hi Matlab Hota Hai, Doosre Ka Nuksaan Aur Apna Fayda”, Pankaj Kapur played the role of corrupt builder Tarneja in Kundan Shah’s cult classic Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron (1983). An intriguing frame, it featured him with Neena Gupta and Satish Kaushik. The film remains one of the best social commentaries produced in Hindi cinema.
