1.Rehnaa Hai Terre Dil Mein

2. Rang De Basanti

5. 3 Idiots


Perhaps one of his most well-known films, and indeed one of the highest-grossing Hindi films of all time, the award-winning 3 Idiots see Madhavan in collaboration with Aamir Khan and Sharman Joshi. Maddy plays the role of Farhan Qureshi, a student forced to pursue engineering instead of his real passion, wildlife photography. He brings the perfect balance of comedy alongside emotional complexity to his character and was also nominated for a Filmfare Award and an International Indian Film Academy Award for the Best Supporting Actor.

6. Tanu Weds Manu (2011) and Tanu Weds Manu Returns (2015)


These two highly successful films saw Madhavan portray the lead in a romantic drama again after quite a long time.
