Harbhajan Singh, former Indian cricketer and KKR’s spinner took his twitter handle to express the emphasis on a lockdown. The Indian specialist spinner seems extremely pushy about government impositions on a complete lockdown as he believes that only shutting the country down will cease the spiking COVID-19 cases.
The 40 year old veteran Indian cricketer, who is currently playing for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the latest IPL season doesn’t want to back down from voicing out about the horrific condition in India. Despite playing the ongoing IPL and being a sports personality, Singh expressed an absolute sense of discomfort and urges the government of India to take immediate action to shut the country.
Now, whether he is including the BCCI and makers of the IPL or he is speaking in favor of a public concern is still subjective and unknown.
