Harry and Meghan: Confirmed Netflix Release Date and everything you need to know!


The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are the subjects of Harry & Meghan, a new six-part documentary in which they recount their own tale.

Liz Garbus, recognized for her work on Lost Girls, What Happened, Miss Simone?, and The Handmaid’s Tale, is in charge of directing the intimate new series.

The Duchess discussed working with Liz Garbus in an interview with Variety Magazine saying: “It’s nice to be able to trust someone with our story — a seasoned director whose work I’ve long admired — even if it means it may not be the way we would have told it. “But that’s not why we’re telling it. We’re trusting our story to someone else, and that means it will go through their lens.”

Harry & Meghan Premise

The documentary will highlight all significant moments in their relationship, including their first meeting, marriage, and childbearing, as well as their choice to leave the royal family and their current California home with their two children.

Netflix claims that the series,

“explores the span of their relationship, from the early days of the couple’s courtship to the challenges and controversies that prompted them to step back from the royal family.”

They add: “The series includes interviews with family and friends who’ve never spoken publicly about the couple’s relationship before, as well as historians and journalists who dissect how media influenced Harry and Meghan’s relationship with the royal family and the Commonwealth at large.”

The documentary is divided into six parts. Each episode delves into their early, covert relationship and the struggles that ultimately drove them to relinquish their full-time positions at the institution.
