Bombay High Court is ready to take back its judgement of shifting the car shed to Kanjurmarg from the previously decided Aarey Colony. The shift to Kanjurmarg was decided due to protests by the citizens. As per the sources, the 102- acre land in Kanjurmarg comes under the sale commissioner who works under the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade. Due to this, the High Court has asked the MMRDA to stop the construction of the car shed.
