Head coach Ravi Shastri feels ‘super proud’ after India regained top position in the ICC Test Rankings

Ravi Shastri heap praised the Indian team after they retained the first position in the ICC Test Team Rankings. India once again hustled and earned back the top position proving to be the best also making their head coach super proud. India (121) surpassed New Zealand (120) by a point to reach the top of the ICC Test Team Rankings.

“The team has shown steely resolve and unwavering focus to be crowned NO.1. It is something the boys have earned fair and square. Rules changed midway but #TeamIndia overcame every hurdle along the way. My boys played tough cricket in tough times. Super proud of this bindass bunch”, Shastri Tweeted. 

 

India and New Zealand will lock horn in the finals of the World Test Championship at South Hampton, Uk. However, New Zealand will face England in a two-match Test series before crossing swords with India, whereas Kohli and his boys will face England in a five-Test match series ahead of WTC.
