Nupur grabbed headlines after jogging for 8 kilometres to his wedding venue and wearing only a vest and shorts during the registry. A video of Ira saying that Nupur will first go and shower is going viral on the Internet.
On January 3, Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare registered their marriage. Nupur jogged about 8 kilometres to the venue and finally sat for the wedding registry in a vest and shorts. Currently, a video has surfaced in which Ira can be seen going up the stage and saying on a mic that Nupur will first shower. The audience hooted at it as well.
After their marriage ceremony, Aamir Khan posed with the newlyweds. Aamir, Reena Dutta, Kiran Rao, Junaid Khan and Azad also posed for a group photo with Ira and Nupur. A video of the photo-op, where Aamir kisses Kiran on the cheeks, has gone viral.
Ira and Nupur are expected to leave soon for Udaipur, where on January 8 there will be a lavish wedding. On January 13, there will be a grand reception in Mumbai.
