Speculation around Don 3 has intensified over the past few days, with reports claiming that Hrithik Roshan might step in as the new lead. The rumours suggested that he would replace Ranveer Singh in Farhan Akhtar’s much awaited action franchise.
While neither Farhan nor Ranveer had publicly responded to the chatter, Hrithik chose to address the matter directly. In a statement shared with the press on Friday through ANI and PTI, the actor dismissed the claims and called them unverified.
“What started off as just a rumour has now taken on an entire life of its own,” Hrithik said, adding that it was necessary to set the record straight. He clarified that he had never been approached for the film at any point. Requesting the media to avoid spreading unconfirmed information, he categorically denied any involvement in the project.
The clarification comes at a time when fans have been closely following developments around Don 3, especially after earlier announcements regarding its casting. Hrithik’s statement now puts to rest speculation about a possible reshuffle in the lead role.
For now, there has been no official update from the makers regarding any change in casting, leaving Ranveer Singh’s association with the film unchanged.
