Hrithik Roshan praises Ikkis trailer; calls Agastya Nanda ‘intense and vulnerable’

Hrithik Roshan has joined the growing list of admirers appreciating the newly released trailer of Ikkis, the upcoming war drama directed by Sriram Raghavan. Taking to Instagram on Wednesday, the actor shared his excitement, calling the trailer powerful and commending the film’s young leads, Agastya Nanda and Simar Bhatia.

Hrithik wrote on his Instagram Stories, “I just loved the trailer of Ikkis. Agastya man, you got me cheering for you. Loved your intensity and vulnerability. You have it!” He also praised the filmmaker, adding, “Sriram Raghavan is killing it. Good luck Simar and the entire cast! I’m waiting to watch it! Keep going Maddock Films.”

Ikkis marks an important milestone for the two debutants. Agastya Nanda, Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, takes on his first major theatrical role after his OTT debut, stepping into the demanding character of Second Lieutenant Arun Khetarpal. Simar Bhatia, Akshay Kumar’s niece, also makes her big-screen entry, having already received a warm public blessing from her uncle ahead of the film’s release.

The film features a strong ensemble cast including Jaideep Ahlawat and Vijay Raaz. Backed by Maddock Films, Ikkis tells the extraordinary real-life story of Arun Khetarpal one of India’s youngest Param Vir Chakra awardees who demonstrated unmatched bravery during the 1971 Indo-Pak War. The film also marks the final on-screen appearance of the late Dharmendra, who plays the older Arun Khetarpal. Ikkis is set for a theatrical release on December 25.
