ICICI Bank Ltd. announced on March 5 that it has brought down its interest rate on home loan of up to ₹75 lakh to 6.70%, its most minimal in 10 years.
The new interest rate was effective from Friday, March 5 2021. The interest on home loans over ₹75 lakh will start from 6.75%.
Mr. Ravi Narayanan, Head- Secured Assets, ICICI Bank said, “We believe that with our completely digitised home loan process including instant sanction for customers of any bank, everybody will find it immensely convenient to avail a home loan with us,” in a statement released by the bank.
People who are not customers of the bank can also apply for a home loan through the bank’s website and mobile app “iMobile Pay.”
