A tailor-made summer training program for women from different universities in J&K has been offered by IIM Rohtak.

A tailor-made summer training program for women from different universities in J&K has been offered by IIM Rohtak. The B-School has welcomed around 64 female students and trained them on various aspects of entrepreneurship. The unique program allows these students to spend six to eight weeks on the B-School campus to acquire entrepreneurial and management skills.

“Nurturing talented women who can become future entrepreneurs and academics is one of the best ways to help J&K further develop,” said Dheeraj Sharma, Director of IIM Rohtak.

The B-school has declared how the internship has helped the students develop their business acumen and in acquiring the skills that would help them embark on their entrepreneurial journey. The healthy internship experience includes classroom sessions, project work, homework, and several business development activities that has helped the students develop their business understanding and cultivate a scientific temperament for decision making, added the B-school.

The move will benefit Jammu and Kashmir students by expanding their exports and management skills, while it might also help IIM Rohtak to attract the Union Territories talent pool to take up the business courses at the B-school.

IIM Rohtak is a public business school located in Rohtak, Haryana. The institute was established in the year 2010 as one of the new six IIIM’s announced under the 11th Five Year Plan.
