Ileana D’Cruz says she won’t allow paparazzi to photograph her kids

Ileana D’Cruz opened up about her stance on paparazzi culture, saying she would not be okay with her sons being photographed, adding that it would be confusing and unfair to them.

Actor Ileana D’Cruz has made it clear that she doesn’t want her children photographed by the paparazzi. The Bollywood star, who welcomed her son Keanu Rafe Dolan with husband Michael Dolan on June 19 this year, expressed that the constant flashing cameras could be overwhelming for little ones.

Speaking in an interview with NDTV, Ileana said it would have been hard for her to be photographed with her babies, as it would be “incredibly confusing” for them. She explained that it was not fair because they would not understand what was going on. “I would not be okay with it,” she stated firmly.

The actor added that she has always shared a respectful relationship with the paparazzi in Mumbai. According to Ileana, whenever she told photographers that she was not comfortable, they understood and did not click her pictures. She said she believes they would also respect her wish not to photograph her sons, Keanu and Koa Phoenix Dolan, if the situation arose.

Fans of Ileana have recently seen her on screen in Shirsha Guha Thakurta’s romantic comedy Do Aur Do Pyaar (2024), where she starred alongside Vidya Balan, Pratik Gandhi, and Sendhil Ramamurthy. Over the years, she has won hearts with performances in films like Barfi, Phata Poster Nikhla Hero, Main Tera Hero, Rustom, The Big Bull and Tera Kya Hoga Lovely.
