In an uproar against Tandav, Kangana Ranaut expresses her distaste; says makers must be put in jail for ‘torturing viewers’

Kangana took to Twitter and said, “The problem isn’t just the Hindu phobic content, it’s also creatively poor and deprived, atrocious and objectionable on every level hence deliberately placed controversial scenes. Put them in jail not just for criminal intentions but also for torturing the viewer #tandavwebseries.”

Web series Tandav by Ali Abbas Zafar starring Saif Ali Khan, Dimple Kapadia and others has been in the news for severe resentment and backlash for quite a few days. The uproar on social media demands the ban of the web series for hurting religious sentiments.

Kangana took to Twitter and said, “The problem isn’t just the Hindu phobic content, it’s also creatively poor and deprived, atrocious and objectionable on every level hence deliberately placed controversial scenes. Put them in jail not just for criminal intentions but also for torturing the viewer #tandavwebseries.” She also reshared a video of Kapil Mishra saying that he has sent a legal notice to Amazon Prime demanding the band of Tandav from the platform.
