India launches its much awaited vaccination drive

Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched the much awaited vaccination drive of Indian vaccination at 10:30 AM via video conferencing today. In his speech he stated that everyone was asking him about when the vaccination will available and now it’s available and he congratulated every Indian for his big decision.

Mr. Modi also boosted about his “Atmanirbhar Bharat (आत्मनिर्भर भारत)” by stating how the vaccination drive launched today has two “Made in India” vaccination i.e., Serum’s -Covishield and Bharat Biotech’s -Covaxin.

The vaccination will give priority to 3 crore front-line workers and people will high risk health conditions. To complete the vaccination it requires two shots, one month apart. Prime Minister has urged the people to continue wearing masks and to maintain social distancing as the the risk factors of getting infected with COVID-19 still lingers around.
