India has received the highest foreign portfolio investors (FPIs) of USD 8.1 billion in the month of November which is said to be the highest in the last 12 years. The inflows in the month of December also looks prominent. FPI own more than 24% of domestic market and it was pumped by active funds.
Whereas, the domestic funds were turned negative when USD 2 billion was pulled out last month. Even then in August, FPIs had invested USD 6.3 billion into equities.
