India to procure 83 more Tejas fighter jets

The Indian Defense Ministry has decided to buy 73 Tejas -Light Combat Aircraft fighter jets & 10 Trainer Aircraft’s for Rs.45.7 crore. The Cabinet Committee on Security was headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

The Defense Minister Rajnath Singh later tweeted that “Tejas LCA is going to be the backbone of the IAF fighter fleet in the years to come..”
