Ahead of the upcoming ODI and T20I series between India and Sri Lanka, The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) has named a five-member commentary panel. In the list of Indian commentators Charu Sharma and left-arm spinner, Murali Kartik has been assigned the job, on the other side Roshan Abeysinge and Russel Arnold will be the Sri Lanka commentators. The Sri Lanka Cricket Board (SLC) has also included former South African cricketer H D Ackerman to share the commentary duty.

India’s tour of Sri Lanka was rescheduled due to COVID-19 positive cases in the Sri Lankan camp, the SLC and the BCCI decided to postpone the series to 18 July 2021. Earlier, it was scheduled to kick off on 13 July 2021. The first game of the three ODI matches will be played on Sunday, followed by the second and third ODIs on July 20 and July 23 respectively. The ODI series will be followed by three T20I matches, which will be played on July 25, 27, and 29.
