Kirill Dmitriev, the CEO of Russian Direct Fund Investment has announced that Russia is in talks with four Indian large scale producers who will produce about 300 million doses of the Russian developed Sputnik V vaccine in 2021. They have chosen 10 among the 110 production sites and are expected to start the production very soon. Russia is currently testing the Sputnik V samples produced in India. The vaccine is said to be 95% effective.
