Indian and Chinese troops clash at Naku La; injuries on both sides

A physical brawl took place between Indian and Chinese troops at Naku La in Sikkim three days ago, according to reports. Naku La is thousands of kilometers away from Eastern Ladakh where the current Line of Actual Control (LAC) standoff is going on between India and China.

The clash occurred when troops from the People’s Liberation Army (PLA) tried to intrude inside the Indian territory. The physical clashes were a result of the Indian troops trying to prevent the intrusion. Both sides have been reported to be injured.

Reportedly no firearms were used and there were no causalities. The situation is in control as of now.
