Indian badminton star PV Sindhu says the pandemic has left players with very few choices

PV Sindhu points out life comes first during an hour-long interaction with TOI on Wednesday. She is the only Indian player to qualify for Tokyo Olympics 2021 in which she concerns about the form and fitness as the coronavirus pandemic is still spreading across the world. She revealed that she goes through meditation and painting to calm herself.

PV Sindhu added that the lockdown gave her time to learn new things. She picked a new hobby in painting, some acrylic in canvas. He has so far completed 10-11 paintings. It is important to remain calm during crunch situations. We win some, we lose some. the important thing is to not get depressed about that. She meditates at times to keep the negative thoughts away. She would say maybe Deepika Padukone is the one who can play the role of her because Deepika has played that sport. She also likes her as an actress.

Sindhu also said to a TOI expert that everything has come to standstill. People in India and across the world were in lockdown and, since last year, not hosting any tournaments. Recently, the players returned to some tournament action but then all other sports events got canceled soon enough. Those were tough times but for her life comes first. During the lockdown, she stayed at home and spending quality time with her parents after a very long time. Before that, it was about camping back from tournaments, training at home, and again going for a tournament.
