India’s CARTOSAT 2F satellite approaches Russia’s Kanopus-V

According to the TsNIIMash calculations on Friday, India’s remote sensing satellite CARTOSAT-2F is approaching the Russian earth observation satellite Kanopus-V by just 224 metres to which both the countries are monitoring very closely. ISRO chairman K Sivan told TOI, “The satellite is 420 metres from the Russian satellite and a manoeuvre will only be done when it comes around 150 metres”.
