His first term started from 16 May 1996 & ended on 1 June 1996 for just 16 days. Atal Bihari has also served full term office in 1998. He was the Co-Founder of Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP). Atal Bihari died on 16 Aug 2018. He will always be remembered as a Prominent Leader & a poetic maestro.

4. H. D. Deve Gowda – 324 Days

Haradanahalli Doddegowda Deve Gowda was the 11th Prime Minister of India. He served in office for a period of 324 days, from 1 June 1996 to 21 April 1997. He was a member of Janata Dal.

5. Inder Kumar Gujral – 332 Days

Inder Kumar Gujral was the 12th Prime Minister of India. He served in office from 21 April 1997 to 19 March 1998. He was a member of Indian National Congress & later joined Janata Dal. He was also the ambassador of India to the Soviet Union in 1976.
