IndiGo to start direct Bengaluru–Riyadh flights from November 16

Beginning November 16, 2025, low-cost airline IndiGo plans to launch direct flights between Bengaluru and Riyadh, enhancing its Middle East footprint. Operating on an Airbus A320 aircraft, the service will serve the increasing number of professionals, tourists, and business travelers between Saudi Arabia and India.

Riyadh is now the second Saudi city, after Jeddah, to be directly connected to Bengaluru via the new route. According to an airline press release, IndiGo, which now operates flights from India to Jeddah, Riyadh, Dammam, and Madinah, anticipates that the new addition would improve connection between southern India and the Gulf region.

The airline claims that the expansion coincides with an increase in passenger demand brought on by bilateral commerce, investment, and job possibilities. The flight from Bengaluru to Riyadh (6E 0053) leaves at 22:05 on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and arrives in Riyadh at 01:20 (+1). On Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, the 6E 0054 flight from Riyadh to Bengaluru departs at 02:20 and arrives in Bengaluru at 09:15.

“As the capital of Saudi Arabia and a major center for trade and investment, Riyadh is important for IndiGo to strengthen air connectivity with India,” stated Mr. Vinay Malhotra, Head of Sales for IndiGo. After Delhi, Mumbai, and Hyderabad, this new route from Bengaluru is IndiGo’s fourth nonstop link to Riyadh. It will strengthen IndiGo’s expanding network throughout Saudi Arabia and the Middle East and improve accessibility for local workers and businesses.

With this launch, we are reaffirming our commitment to increasing global connectivity and facilitating travel. The IndiGo website, mobile app, or authorized travel agents are now the means by which passengers can purchase tickets for the trip.
