 
									Social media influencer Orhan Awatramani, popularly known as Orry, along with seven others, has been booked by the Jammu & Kashmir Police for allegedly consuming alcohol near the Vaishno Devi shrine. The incident has sparked outrage due to the sacred nature of the site.
According to ANI, an FIR was lodged at Katra Police Station against Orry and his companions for violating the District Magistrate’s order. The accused include Darshan Singh, Parth Raina, Ritick Singh, Rashi Dutta, Rakshita Bhogal, Shagun Kohli, and a Russian national, Anastasila Arzamaskina. They are charged with consuming alcohol in a prohibited area, which has strict regulations against non-vegetarian food and intoxicants.
A senior police official from Reasi district told Times Now that a special team under the supervision of SP Katra, Dy SP Katra, and SHO Katra has been formed to investigate the matter. “Notices will be sent to all accused, instructing them to join the probe,” the official stated.
The incident reportedly took place in the Cottage Suit area of Katra, a location in close proximity to the revered Hindu pilgrimage site. Authorities have emphasized strict action against any activities that hurt religious sentiments. SSP Reasi has reaffirmed that violations involving alcohol or drugs at religious sites will not be tolerated.
