Daredevil Remi Lucidi, also known as ‘Remi Enigma’ on Instagram, passed away when he fell from the top of a towering Hong Kong skyscraper. The 30-year-old thrill-seeker was known for scaling buildings, cranes, bridges, and more, thrilling his over 3,000 followers with heart-stopping photographs and videos taken from incredible heights.
During his most recent escapade, Lucidi climbed the 68-story Tregunter Tower, which stands 721 feet above the ground in Hong Kong’s posh Mid-Levels area. Witnesses said he was seen knocking on the windows of the penthouse, apparently trying to get back inside the building. However, before help could arrive, he fell to his death.
Lucidi’s Instagram account was a gallery of breathtaking photos showing him bravely clinging to the spires of tall buildings across the globe, from Dubai to Bulgaria and his home country of France.
Authorities found Lucidi’s sports camera at the site, which had videos of his adrenalin-pumping activities. His love of adventure and heights defined his life and his tragic death left a void in the hearts of many.
