Instagram to copy TikTok’s Vertical Stories feed feature

Instagram is working on Vertical Stories feed which would similar to the TikTok feature. This wouldn’t be first that Instagram would copy another platforms feature i.e., it already has navigate through stories using taps and horizontal swipes which is copied from Snapchat and it released Reels immediately after TikTok got banned in India to capitalize the market.

According to the TechCrunch, Instagram confirmed about the new changes and said that vertical grid would be simpler and easier for viewing all the available stories in a vertical grid that lets would the users swipe up and down to go from one story to the next. Alessandro Paluzzi is the one who figured out the codes for this new feature.

The feature isn’t ready for launch yet and is currently being worked upon and built and is currently an “early prototype” and would not be available for testing any time soon.
