David Warner, the Sunriser Hyderabad skipper said in a post match presentation that he takes full responsibility for the way he batted, it was really slow, and due to this SRH couldn’t make a big score despite having wickets in their hand.
David Warner scored 57 runs in 55 balls with a strike rate of only 103.64 only. He had just three 4s and two 6s in his knock.
David Warner couldn’t put his foot on accelerator as he was playing very slow and this hampered the target that SRH would have in their mind after their solid start.
He said, “I take full responsibility for the way I batted, it was really slow, found a lot of fielders and I got frustrated.”
After his departure, Manish Pandey and Kane Williamson tried to make some quick runs and took the score till 171 runs in their 20 overs, but that wasn’t enough for the CSK side as they managed to chase the target with 9 balls remaining.
SRH have won only one game in their campaign so far while losing five matches.
