After a crisp start from Faf Du Plessis CSK looked good at 44-1 after 5 overs to go ahead and set a big total for themselves on what was an absolute belter of a wicket at Wankhede against Rajasthan Royals.
But wickets in regular intervals meant that Chennai was never able to build a good partnership even after many batsmen got good starts. After 147-6 in 18th over when Dhoni departed all hopes of a big total started to vanish for CSK.
Dwayne Bravo though had other plans as he came up with a cameo of himself, he came in the 19th over and hit back-to-back fours to start his innings against Chris Morris. He then took a couple of two`s in the final over and finished the innings off in style with a massive six over long-on to help CSK settle for a respectable total of 188 in 20 overs.
Against a strong Rajasthan batting consisting of Buttler, Morris, Samson, and Miller Chennai might feel 20 runs short on an absolute road at Wankhede but still, the total is worth fighting for.
