Taslima Nasreen, Bangladesh’s writer has sprung controversy after saying some controversial words about Moeen Ali, the England all-rounder. The 58-year-old is known for her writings on criticism of religion and women’s oppression. She also received death threats from radical Muslim groups for her writings.
Later, she had to leave her country after which she adopted Swedish citizenship. As far as Moeen is concerned, he was in the news after reports of him, asking Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to remove a beer brand logo from his jersey.
She wrote, “If Moeen Ali were not stuck with cricket, he would have gone to Syria to join ISIS.” on twitter.
