IPL 2021: Harshal Patel moved to the top of Purple Cap leaderboard with the total of 7 wickets

On Wednesday April, RCB’s Harshal Patel will be the Purple Cap holder as he take 2 wickets today making total of 7 wickets. He left behind the KKR’s Andre Russel who was with 5 wickets and he is as 2nd Position in the leaderboard of Purple Cap holders. And helped his team Royal Challengers Bangalore to win the match by 6 runs.

Harshal Patel on his comeback match for Royal Challengers Bangalore bagged a fifer against Mumbai Indians. It was also his five-wicket haul in T20 cricket and first by any bowler against MI. His 5/27 helped RCB restrict MI for 159. He takes 2 wickets today against SunRisers Hyderabad. With that feat, Harshal Patel took the top spot in the Purple Cap race.

Harshal said, “ My hands were sweaty but no excuses for bowling no-balls. It’s a basic mistake and I will try not to repeat it. I have been told that I will be bowling the pressure overs and I’m really happy that captain has that faith in me. All the games here have such a trend that you can only score when the ball is hard and it gets really difficult when the ball gets softer.
