IPL 2021: IPL remainders likely to happen in UAE in September to October

The Indian Premier League which was withheld due to increasing cases of COVID-19 last month is said to continue in UAE from the month of  September to October. BCCI will be announcing this decision in the special general meeting when the members will be assembling on May 29.

Around 31 matches that include the knockout phase as well will be played in the United Arab Emirates, the 2020 season was also played in UAE due to the increased effects of the Pandemic. The Indian team will be going to England to play a five-test series which is scheduled to begin on August 4. BCCI will be looking forward to reducing the number of days of gap between the test matches to make better chances to organize IPL and give the players some rest in this hectic season.

This season was halted after many players and staff members were infected and the pressure from international and domestic media forced the organizers to pause the league and wait for the situation to get better.
