IPL 2021: KKR’s Varun Chakravarthy reveals he has a new mystery ball in his inventory

Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and decided to field first which eventually worked well for Morgan and his squad. Kolkata restricted Punjab Kings for a low total of 123 for 9 at the Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahemdabad.

After, the first inning KKR’s young gun Varun Chakravarthy was asked about his bowling experience with a further question if he has any new deliveries in his inventory this season or not. Chakravarthy bowled an economical spell with one wicket dismissing the hitter Nicholas Pooran (19).

” I am working on it (mystery ball), let’s see, if conditions help me, I’ll use it. I need a dry ball for that for sure.”  Chakravarthy said.

The youngsters who made popularity last year for his impressive bowling for KKR, ironically made his IPL debut playing against the same franchise in 2019 at the Eden Gardens, Kolkata.
