Although Chennai Super Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals with a heavy margin of 45 runs and secured second position in the points table, CSK skipper MS Dhoni admitted to his slow performance with the bat.
Dhoni came in to bat after the dismissal of Suresh Raina (18) and was struggling to adjust. Dhoni scored a total of just 18 runs of 17 balls with a poor strike rate of 105.88. He was later dismissed by Chetan Sakariya.
On this Dhoni agreed and stated that the first six balls he played could have cost the team in another game. Chennai will now face Royal Challengers Banglore ahead on Sunday, April 25th at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
