Mumbai Indians skipper Rohit Sharma scripted a promising 40th fifty of his IPL career. It was a must needed captains innings for Mumbai as they were cramped by Punjab in the powerplay.
However, the hitman kept playing and scored fifty of 40 balls with a strike rate of 126.19 including 4 fours and two sixes. This was also Rohit’s first fifty of the IPL 2021 edition. Rohit has been dismissed quite a few times in his 40’s this season.
Will the hitman construct this innings into another IPL century to help Mumbai score big against Punjab’s deep inventory of bowling.
