Indian leg-spinner Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been out of form for a long time, took his first wicket in the IPL 2021. In the match being played between RCB and KKR, Chahal sent Nitish Rana in the dug out. Nitish Rana was playing well and was in good form. On fifth ball of seventh over Rana went for a slog sweep and actually hit this pretty well but the placement has gone wrong. He picks out by Padikkal at deep mid-wicket with precision. Though the KKR is doing well but the wickets are hurting.
Chahal took his second wicket in 8.3 over. Dinesh Kartik got stuck in the crease and can’t get bat on the defensive push and is rapped on the front pad, right before middle and leg stumps. It was a easy call for the umpire. Clear plumb made DK back to dug out. Karthik made 2 runs on 5 balls.
These was much needed for Yuzi, as he was also dropped out from the England series for being expensive. Chahal being back in form will surely help Royal Challengers Bangalore.
