Prithvi Shaw debuted for Delhi Daredevils in the 2018 season, he scored a knock of twenty runs in ten balls in his first match while being the youngest player to open in an IPL match at 18 years and 165 days only.
Prithvi Shaw scored his first IPL fifty against the Kolkata Knight Riders and went on to become the joint youngest player to score an IPL fifty along with Sanju Samson in 18 years and 169 days only.
