On the first Super Sunday doubleheader of this IPL PBKS goes all guns blazing in the first powerplay of the second match against Delhi Capitals. Opening partners and Karnataka teammates KL Rahul and Mayank Aggarwal thrashed Delhi bowling and scored 59/0 in the first six overs when fielding restrictions were on.
Mayank Aggarwal did the heavy scoring 30 runs off 13 balls while KL Rahul struggled to get going and supported his partner with 23off 24 balls.
Both of them played sensibly while scoring freely and the high point was the over of Lukman Meriwala off which Mayank and Rahul scored 20 runs and didn’t give the wicket away to any other bowlers who bowled well.
The partnership set PBKS up for a big total to post in the first innings at Wankhede Stadium.
