Earlier, the Royal Challengers Bangalore declared the use of blue jersey to show their support towards the COVID-19 frontline workers. The team management proposed that the team will sport this jersey on a particular match. RCB skipper Virat Kohli in context conveyed the franchise fans with the same through a video.
Now, the team has also made some specific changes to their logo. As seen the lion in the logo is wearing a mask, which the team management addressed with a strong message.
“Before you go ‘why’s the lion wearing a mask?’, it’s just our way of saying, no matter who you’re, mask up when you leave your home”, said RCB team management.
Bangalore administration has also promised to maintain this logo on all their social media platforms until the end of the IPL 2021to show major concern and responsibility towards the vastly affected country by the COVID-19.
