The Kolkata Knight Riders finally set up their first win after losing four comprehensive matches in the IPL 2021. However, KKR clearly showed what the team is capable of with their full strength and efforts in the park.
KKR skipper Eoin Morgan displayed his magnanimity to heap praise the team’s hard work but majorly how KKR bowlers turned this match completely into their favour, helping the team win convincingly.
“We’ve worked incredibly hard, but didn’t performed as well as we would have liked initially. Today our performance was really impressive, especially from our bowlers and the way we started and kept the pressure throughout”, said Morgan.
With this win, Kolkata jumped from the very last position to the fifth in the IPL points table. Seems like Ahmedabad welcomed them with goodwill.
