Devdutt Padikkal scored the fasted century as uncapped player for Royal Challengers Bangalore in today’s game against Rajasthan Royal, he scored 101 runs in only 52 balls.
His knock helped the Bangalore side to win the game with 10 wickets in today’s game.
The other two centuries scored by uncapped Indian players are of Manish Pandey and Paul Valthaty. Manish Pandey scored 114 runs for Royal Challenger Bangalore against Deccan Chargers in 2009.
The other one was scored by Paul Valthaty for Kings XI Punjab against Chennai Super Kings in 2011, he scored 120 runs. He hit a century in 53 balls in that game and it was the fasted century by an uncapped player until Devdutt Padikkal’s 52 ball century in today’s game.
