IPL 2021: Trent Boult’s last over seals victory for MI against KKR

Trent Boult, the New Zealand and Mumbai Indians paceman sealed the victory for Mumbai Indians in the fifth match of IPL 2021 at Chennai.

KKR were asked 15 runs in the last six balls,  but knocking the wicket of Andre Russel turned the game, followed by a clear  yorker that striked Pat Cummins by Trent Boult.

Boult’s last over played a  vital for the Mumbai Indians victory which led them to log their first win this season after getting defeated in the first game against Royal Challenger Bangalore.

‘It’s a good feeling to win the match considering our position in the last overs, but the over by Bumrah and everyone’s will to win was essential while being in this match till the end, spinners also performed well and that at last everything went well after dropping some important catches as well, but we’re happy to win this game and we’re looking forward to other matches’ Trent Boult said in the post match presentation.

Mumbai Indians will be playing Sunrisers Hyderabad on 17th april in MA Chidambaram Stadium.
